  1. Where are you located?

    We are centrally located in the crossroads of Central Pennsylvania just off of Routes 11/15 North and Route 581 at One Bishop Place, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Get driving directions here.

  2. What are your hours?

    Our hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our business offices are closed on Saturday, Sunday and holidays, but we are available for pick-up and delivery on Sundays.

  4. Are you a franchise?

    We're one of a kind. Essential Party Rentals is locally owned and operated by The JDK Corporation. A family owned company that has served the area as a leading caterer and event planner since 1987.

  5. Do you deliver?

    Yes, we deliver to places as far as Northern Virginia and Maryland. We highly recommend that the client be home to verify counts upon delivery. Deliveries are scheduled between the hours of 9am and 7pm. It is not necessary to be home for your delivery or pickup. Make sure you mention if you won't be home, so we can get any details necessary to secure the items.

  6. Do you offer after-hours pickup?

    Yes, we're one of the few that do. Additional fees do apply. See our Service Fees & Policies page.

  7. Do you offer same day pickup?

    Yes, we offer same day pickup. We can drop off and pick up an event on the same day for no extra charge. Any pickup or delivery after 7pm will incur the after hours fee.

  8. Can I pick my items up?

    We're here to assist you. Some items however, may require special delivery and set-up. Decorative items such as our Castle Wall and Pirate Ship are just two examples.

  9. How long is your rental period?

    A typical rental period is 24 hours, not including delivery and pickup. However, due to unique situations we typically say for the "duration of your event." What this means is that you may be able to keep your rentals for a longer period of time without an additional fee depending on the items rented and your unique circumstances. These cases are taken on an individual basis.

  10. Do you accept credit cards?

    You bet. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept cash and personal checks with proper identification.

  11. How do I make a reservation?

    Begin by browsing our online catalog. Add party items and supplies to your Rental List. Print your Rental list and then call our office at 1-877-277-0793. Once your order is placed and confirmed, a credit card and signed contract is necessary to secure your reservation, even if you plan on paying by cash or personal check.

  12. How large of an event can you handle?

    Essential Party Rentals and its’ partners JDK Catering and Imagine Event Design and Production are equipped to handle any size event from 20-10,000. We'd be happy to discuss options if your event is larger.

  13. What if I need something you don't show on your website?

    Give us a call and ask. We may have the item(s) but not posted yet, or we may be willing to either acquire or sub-rent the item(s) for you.

    For qualified non-profits, we offer our JDK Philanthropic Aid Program.
